NSBA Stallion Auction - BUY IT NOW Opens Oct 1!

It pays to purchase early!  Phase One of the NSBA Stallion auction opens OCTOBER 1st!

This one is a little different than our typical Stallion Service "Auction" as every stallion is available as a "BUY IT NOW" option from the getgo! No bidding required. 

It's broken up into two phases: 

• The stallion services will be sold at 75% of the advertised breeding fee between October 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026.
• Any breeding not sold during that time will be available for purchase from November 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 for 50% of the advertised breeding fee plus $100 administrative fee.

The NSBA Stallion Service Auction is more than just an opportunity to access premier stallions at a competitive rate—it’s a vital funding mechanism for one of NSBA’s cornerstone programs: the Incentive Fund.

How It Works
Each year, generous stallion owners donate a breeding to the NSBA Stallion Service Auction. These breedings are then made available for public purchase through the online auction, which opens annually on October 1. When you purchase a breeding through the auction, you’re not only securing a top-quality sire for your mare—you’re directly investing in the Incentive Fund.

What the Auction Supports
Proceeds from the sale of each donated breeding go directly into the NSBA Incentive Fund, which rewards enrolled horses for points earned in NSBA-approved classes. This unique model provides lifetime earnings potential for enrolled horses and helps grow participation in NSBA events across the country.

Complimentary Foal Enrollment
A major benefit for those who purchase a breeding through the Stallion Service Auction is a complimentary foal enrollment for the resulting foal into the Incentive Fund.

Eligibility is based on by the sale of the sire’s breeding through the NSBA Stallion Service Auction during the foaling year. Eligible horses may be enrolled from weanling through two years of age.

Long-Term Value
The Incentive Fund offers value for the life of the enrolled horse. Once enrolled, that horse is eligible to earn Incentive Fund money year after year in approved NSBA classes, making the initial investment in a breeding even more worthwhile.
