The Southwest Desert Classic launches its Breeders Incentive Auction on January 15, 2026, running through February 15, 2026. This online stallion service auction directly funds payouts for speed, rewarding the fastest eligible offspring in the OPEN 2D.

Proceeds are allocated: 60% to owners/riders with top times in each go and the average; 20% to stallion owners of 1D-placing get; 20% for advertising and promotion. All foals by auction stallions or paid-in reference sires are immediately eligible to compete for these purses.
